Event Summary

In today’s rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, the effective exchange of health information is paramount for delivering quality patient care, streamlining operations, and driving innovation. Two key initiatives at the forefront of this movement are the Health Information Trust Interoperability (HTI-1) final rule and the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA). This event will explore the key components of HTI-1 and TEFCA and how the concepts of both apply to your daily healthcare operations.

The session will discuss the challenges and considerations surrounding the implementation of these initiatives, such as data privacy and security concerns, and provide foundational awareness on what these things mean for you in your everyday practice.

This session will also delve into AI in clinical decision support and the guidance from ONC (The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology) that is being proposed.
