Elizabeth McElhiney, MHA, CHPS, CPHIMS, CDH-L, CRIS, CC, is Director of Government Affairs and Policy at Verisma. She collaborates with clients to implement evidence-based best practices and oversees thought leadership initiatives. Elizabeth has worked in health information and release of information for 15+ years, covering all industry areas from customer service to compliance. She also worked on the team to create the AHIMA ROI microcredential. Elizabeth earned an MHA with a specialization in Health Informatics from Capella University, and a BA in Political Science from Illinois Wesleyan University.
