Course Summary

The Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS®) is the measurement tool used by the nation’s health plans to evaluate their performance in terms of clinical quality and customer service. 235+ million people are enrolled in plans reporting HEDIS results, making it one of healthcare’s most widely used performance tools. 

HEDIS is a set of standardized performance measures designed to ensure purchasers and consumers have the information needed to reliably compare healthcare quality. Because HEDIS measures are precisely defined, they allow for apples-to-apples comparisons across health plans – making it easier to track performance, identify gaps, and drive improvement. 

Join us as we discuss HEDIS measurement year (MY) changes, updates, trends and results so health information professionals and health plans are adequately prepared. The conversation will also explore how prospective HEDIS reviews can support earlier gap identification, cleaner documentation, and stronger readiness for Digital Quality Measures (dQM), Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), and other value-based reporting programs as quality measurement continues to move toward more digital, data-driven workflows.
